Paula Alm (Office Manager)
Paula has been in the dental field for over 25 years. She recently joined Dr. Decker’s team in 2012 and is thrilled to be here. She started out her dental career as a dental assistant then moved to the front office. As the office manager it is her goal to make sure every patient leaves our office feeling like they are a part of our dental family. When not at work, she loves to spend time with her family and friends. She enjoys reading, watching movies, and working out at the gym. She lives with her three kitties, Iris, Penelope, and Sammy.
Bonnie Blechschmidt (Scheduling Coordinator)
Bonnie grew up in Enumclaw and was inspired by her mother to enter the dental field and has been working on and off in the field since the early 1970’s. She has been with this practice since 1995 and with Dr. Decker since 2007. The most rewarding part of her job is the interaction with our patients and building relationships with them. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her significant other, Mike. She also enjoys spending time with her two boys and their families.
Denise Doolittle, R.D.H., B.S.D.H.
Denise started her career in 2001 in Bonney Lake where she quickly fell in love with dentistry and patient care. After graduating from the Pierce College Dental Hygiene Program in 2004, Denise went on to Eastern Washington University to complete her bachelor’s degree. Currently, Denise works part-time on Dr. Decker’s team as a clinical dental hygienist and teaches part-time, in the Pierce College Dental Hygiene program as an adjunct clinical professor and nutrition educator. Denise is an active member in her local ADHA component and educational study groups. Denise has a great interest in connecting with her patients. Building rapport creates an understanding and value for oral and systemic health. The relationships cultivate trust and respect that helps patients make informed decisions appropriate for their oral health. She looks forward to every day with my team. Denise feels she has found a balance in her career that keeps her fresh and excited about dental hygiene. In her personal time, Denise enjoys family time with her husband, three children and their dog. They love camping in their RV and boating every chance they get. Denise also loves cooking and gardening.
Erin Pugmire (Dental Hygienist)
Erin has been in the dental field since she was 11 years old, making charts for her father’s dental practice. In 1996, after 10 years helping in the front office, she graduated from Clark College dental hygiene school and made the move to the back office. She has worked in 6 different practices since 1996 on a part-time to full-time basis. Erin has been with Dr. Decker since August 2007 and works 2 days per week for him, job sharing with Denise. What Erin likes most about her profession is helping a patient understand how their mouth works in harmony with the rest of their body. Then seeing that patient making choices that reflect the knowledge they have found is the best feeling ever! Erin is from Enumclaw and still currently lives here with her husband, Hal, and their 3 children; Noah, Jonah and Kaia. Erin owns ACME CrossFit in Enumclaw and fills her time teachng adult and kid CrossFit classes outside of dental hygiene. She also like to hike with her family, run relay races and she would love be able to travel more!
Shelley Borland (Dental Hygienist)
Shelley was born in the Seattle area and has lived on the plateau since 1998. She attended Shoreline Community College and graduated from their Hygiene program in 1989. It is her personal goal to ensure that even the most apprehensive and fearful patient feels comfortable. Shelley feels compassion and empathizes with patients, and strives to make their dental experience a positive one. When she is not working, Shelley enjoys spending time with her family. Their favorite activities are hiking, gardening, camping, fishing, horses and traveling.
Randi Damery (CDA, EFDA)
Randi graduated from Renton Technical College as a Certified Dental Assistant in 2001. In 2012, Randi graduated from the restorative program at South Puget Sound Community College as an Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary. Randi can now place composite and amalgam restorations and take final impressions. Randi started working for Dr. Decker in December of 2007. She absolutely loves her job and feels lucky to be part of this amazing practice.
When not at work, Randi enjoys spending time with her family. Randi was born and raised in Enumclaw and still lives in this wonderful little town. She loves spending time with her significant other, Jameson, their daughter Lainey and her son Beau. She also enjoys working out and working in her yard.
Shelley Trudeau (Dental Assistant)
Shelley is originally from Longview, WA and chose to become a dental assistant with the help of her grandmother. She graduated from Lake Washington Voc. Tech in 1985 and has been Dental Assisting ever since. She has worked at her current job since 1998 and joined Dr. Decker in 2007 when he moved back to Enumclaw. She most enjoys trying to ease patients’ minds when they come in and making the best of their dental experience. In her down time she enjoys hiking and camping, and is always up for a good joke.
Kateri Donovan (Dental Assistant)
Kateri grew up in the small town of Eatonville, WA. She originally graduated from Eastern Washington University in 1999 with a B. A. in Event/Recreation Management. A few years later she found and interest in the dental field. Kateri has now been a dental assistant for 10 years, graduating from Bryman dental assisting school in 2003. She has been a part of Dr. Decker’s dental team since 2010.
She and her husband live in Enumclaw with their 15 year old daughter, and 7 and 5 year old sons. While not working Kateri enjoys attending her kids’ sporting events like volleyball, gymnastics, and Jr. Hornets football. She also enjoys time with her husband working with their Angus cattle on their small cattle ranch.
