Meet Our Staff
Dr. Scott Decker attended Enumclaw High School in Enumclaw, Washington. He then received a bachelor’s degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Washington in 2001. After graduating he was accepted to Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, in Boston. After graduation in 2005 he started practicing Dentistry in Tacoma, Washington. In August of 2007, Dr. Decker began practicing and operating Enumclaw Family and Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Decker has had extensive training in all aspects of Dentistry including root canals, extractions, crown and bridge, implant dentistry,Iinvisalign training, removable prosthodontics (dentures), cosmetic restorations (fillings), teeth bleaching, periondontal therapy, TMJ treatment, CEREC crowns. Dr. Decker enjoys patients of all age groups. His personal mission statement is to try and treat every patient the way he would like to be treated, and goal is to have every patients teeth outlive them.
Dr. Decker was married in March of 1998. He and his wife, Carol have two children; Chloe, who is three; and Safiya, who is 2.
Dr. Decker strongly believes in continuing his education and always evolving as a dental practitioner. We strongly embrace current dental technologies, and try to make them available to our patients, to allow for the most comfortable dental experience possible.

Bonnie (Patient Coordinator, Scheduler)
Bonnie grew up in Enumclaw, WA and was inspired by her mother to enter the dentistry field. She most enjoys interacting with patients and knowing that she has helped them in some way. She has worked with Dr. Decker for the past three years, but in the dentistry profession for about 13 years. When not at work, she loves spending time with her grandchildren, ages 9 and 5, and laughing with friends. Her favorite sweet indulgence is pastry.
Courtney Harding (Office Manager)
Courtney has been working with Dr. Decker for the past year now. Inspired by her grandfather, a former dentist, she chose to follow a career in the same field. Her favorite aspect of her position is helping patients feel confident in their smile. When not managing the day-to-day operations of the office, Courtney enjoys spending time with her family and friends and laughing with her boys. Her favorite sweet indulgence is Reese’s peanut butter cups.
Shelley Trudeau (Dental Assistant)
Shelley is originally from Longview, WA and chose to become a dental assistant with the help of her grandmother. She has now worked with Dr. Decker for the past three years. As she understands that going to the dentist can be stressful, she most enjoys trying to ease patients’ minds when they come in. Shelley enjoys a good joke or her son’s humor to make her laugh and donuts or pastries to satisfy her sweet tooth.
Erin Pugmire (Hygienist)
Erin knew she wanted to enter the dentistry profession as a teenager and has now been working with Dr. Decker for the past three years. Helping patients to better understand their health and providing tips on effectively brushing and flossing are aspects of her job that she loves most. Hearing her children’s laughter and making ice cream topped with hot fudge and peanut butter make her smile.
Shelley Mascarelli (Hygienist)
Shelley has always had a positive association with dentistry, even as a little girl. In fact, she began assisting in high school before moving onto hygiene school. She has worked with Dr. Decker since 2007, but has been at the practice since 1999. She enjoys seeing patients smile and happy that they came in. Her favorite sweet indulgence is dark chocolate and when not at work, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and pets.
